At present we are working on a fully interactive flash site but while we are activly promoting the band, we will use this site (an older design).

Mayfield Drive is a three piece rock band that has being playing behind the music scene for over six years spanning from local pubs in Bathgate and Motherwell to illustrious festivals in Paris.

With there own individual talents Boab,Mark and Ryan has firmly established a fan base all over Scotland and produced a diverse compilation of cover songs ranging from the swinging 60's to that new catchy tune you heard on the radio while driving to work,and also they put their own songs in the mix.

The band consists of Boab Knox,who plays guitar and belts out the vocals,Mark Trodden,who plays the bass and sometimes does backup vocals,and Ryan Mathieson,who plays drums and occasionally does backup vocals too.Its clear to say that Mayfield Drive is a passionate, professional and fun loving band who strive to become better and more entertaining with each passing gig.

Mayfield Drive are currently seeking new members. 
As most of our following will know, mark has recently left Mayfield Drive. All on good terms of course being three best friends its always difficult 
to replace a member, especially someone who has been part of the band since day 0!

However, we are currently looking for a new Bass player who is up for jumping straight in and working with the band to make sure our current 
lineup of gigs is kept going! - We are also seeking a Keys Player who would be interested in doing some pub-gigs!

Into 2010

2009 Was a busy year for Mayfield Drive. You probably saw us playing more pub gigs than usual as we improve our equipment and work on building our own studio! - the studio is coming very well and should be complete this year. At the same time we have got ourselves some awesome new equipment including:

• New PA System with speakers and Amp
• New stage lighting system with controller and various lighting effects
• New recording equipment including drum microphones and inputs 
• New bass stack for marky boy

and more. 

This year
You will continue to see us in pub gigs as we keep paying for our new gear and building the studio. 
The band is also working on new material, both cover material for the pub gigs and our own songs. At the same time unearthing some of those old tracks from back in 2003!

Our support has been fantastic, 2010 will be more of a "utility" year than industry progressive however our plans to start organising our own large scale events plus investing in some serious marketing will kick off towards the end of the year.
