At present we are working on a fully interactive flash site but while we are activly promoting the band, we will use this site (an older design).

Mayfield Drive is a three piece rock band that has being playing behind the music scene for over six years spanning from local pubs in Bathgate and Motherwell to illustrious festivals in Paris.

With there own individual talents Boab,Mark and Ryan has firmly established a fan base all over Scotland and produced a diverse compilation of cover songs ranging from the swinging 60's to that new catchy tune you heard on the radio while driving to work,and also they put their own songs in the mix.

The band consists of Boab Knox,who plays guitar and belts out the vocals,Mark Trodden,who plays the bass and sometimes does backup vocals,and Ryan Mathieson,who plays drums and occasionally does backup vocals too.Its clear to say that Mayfield Drive is a passionate, professional and fun loving band who strive to become better and more entertaining with each passing gig.

Boab The Builder

Mayfield Drive are in the process of turning our rehearsal space into a fully featured and equipped recording studio. The work is being done by Boab and his father and they have come leaps and bounds. We spent our gigging money (and more) on equipmet and our next focus will be recording and producing our DEMO / EP. 

Exciting stuff and its the reason we have not been booking any gigs!
